Primer - Reports

ShopFloorManager provides numerous ways to design & create "Event Programs" so you can collect Production, Probe, Document, File, Machine Events Histories & more. In order to make sense out of the collected data from these Programs, ShopFloorManager provides a flexible & configurable Report Generator ShopReports: (html) specifically designed for analyzing Manufacturing data. It allows for generating reports based on Users, User Groups, DNC Files, Resource Collections, Machine Events & Sub Events, Configurable Time frames, Machine Tools(Work Centers), including custom specified shifts, days, ...!

Use ShopReportsTM to Generate Reports that Analyze Data From:

• System Configurations
• DNC Files(DNC Files, Macros, etc.)
• Documents(Drawings, Process Sheets, Quality Instruction, etc.)
• Packets(Travelers, Projects, Tasks, etc.)
• Machine Events(Production, Probe Data, Maintenance, etc.)

Note: From the above ShopFloorManager Runtime Application you can click on the View Menu and then the Reports... Menu to Access the Report Generator. See the following Windows for a more details.

ShopFloorManager Database Reports

From this Main Window you can access any of the relevant Reports you are interested in then click on the "Configuration" Tab and you will be presented with 7 different Reports from which you can chose!

From the above Window select the Configuration Reports you need and click on the Print Button to print them out.

Note: Because of the possible Size it is recommended that you Print a PDF File Version. To view an example click the following Link: Configuration Reports(pdf)!

DNC Files Reports

To analyze the data on any and all DNC Files click on the "DNC Files" Tab and you will be presented with 25 different Reports(Some displayed in Real-Time Charting) from which you can chose! Each one of these Reports can be filtered based on your choosen criteria!

Once you selected the Report you want to view you can click on the various options(Buttons). These Options can be to view everything, not recommended, or you use the "Edit Filter" Button to create a unique "Report" for up to 7 different configurable categories, some with multiple selections!

Controlled Documents Reports

Click on the "Controlled Documents" Tab and you will be presented with 12 different Reports from which you can chose!

Once you selected the Report you want to view you can click on the various options(Buttons). These Options can be to view everything, not recommended, or you use the "Edit Filter" Button to create a unique "Report" for up to 5 different categories, some with multiple selections!

Packets Reports

Click on the "Packets" Tab and you will be presented with 14 different Reports from which you can chose!

Once you selected the Report you want to view you can click on the various options(Buttons). These Options can be to view everything, not recommended, or you use the "Edit Filter" Button to create a unique "Report" for up to 6 different categories, some with multiple selections!

Machine Event Reports

Click on the "Machine Events" Tab and you will be presented with 9 different Reports(Some displayed in Real-Time Charting) from which you can chose!

Once you selected the Report you want to view you can click on the various options(Buttons). These Options can be to view everything, not recommended, or you use the "Edit Filter" Button to create a unique "Report" for up to 4 different categories, some with multiple selections!.

This Module allows you to generate Reports based on the criteria you set so that the Reports generated are specific to the data you need to analyze. As you can see these categories are especially geared into Manufacturing. This Filter is only available from the DNC Files, Controlled Documents, Packets & Events.

You have up to 10 categories from which to generate your reports. There are some categories that have other sub-categories which will allow you to generate Reports customized to your needs. You can save any Report File as a Template and save it to a name you specify. The next time you need your Customized Report just Select & Click!

Crystal Report

All of the reports with the exception of the Configurations are Crystal Reports. It is possible to purchase Crystal Reports yourself and generate your own reports. We suggest that if you need special reports we can write these to your specification within a few days.
