ShopMDI: A "Manual Data Input" Application

Using ShopMDI for "Manual Data Input" & Real-Time Monitoring

Fully Integrated with ShopMonitor!

ShopMDI can use Monitoring Programs created with ShopMonitor: (html) which allows ShopFloorManager Users to Create Real-Time "Monitoring Programs" that can capture, store, provide real-time production visuals & generate detailed reports based on Manufacturing Shop Floor "Events" generated by Lists of "Events" created within ShopFloorManager by its Users. For Details see the "Create A Monitoring Program" Menu!

Guess what?

In the process of creating this a "Monitoring Program" with ShopMonitor you have also Automatically Created a Manual Data Input Program allowing you to enter Maintenance, Probe & Production Data Manually for any type of Work Center!

You want more?

The Production Information Collected & Analyzed by ShopFloorManager can also be Displayed in Real-Time Interactive Charts (ShopCharts: (html)), viewed in Real-Time Machine Event Status and you can also run Reports(ShopReports: (html)) that provide complete details on Machine Tool Utilizations!

Not enough?

You can also use ShopReports to generate Reports for specific Shifts, Users, Machine Tools, DNC File, etc. Believe it or Not you have created all this from your Simple Monitoring Program. With just a little more effort you can create Programs that collect Probe Dimensions, Tool Changes, Maintenance Information, Send Emails, etc.

The data collected by ShopMDI could also be done automatically if your controllers supported DPRNTs and you had installed a Probe to collect Measurements. We will use ShopMDI to simulate what would happen if the Events were generated by the "Monitoring Program" and were inserted into a DNC File!
